Special Removal Requirements

  • Bidder must be or hire an experienced, qualified firm to decommission the system in accordance with all applicable safety protocols.
  • Buyer is responsible for all dismantling, de-installation, rigging, crating, loading, permits, and hauling at their own risk and expense.
  • Bidder must supply all equipment necessary for the removal of the unit.
  • Bidder is responsible for arranging and covering all costs related to packing, freight, shipping, delivery, re-installation, and commissioning.
  • Seller will disconnect all utilities prior to removal.
  • Removal of the equipment must be completed within eight (8) weeks of the auction close date.
  • A Certificate of Liability Insurance, satisfactory to the property management team, must be provided by the buyer or buyer's agent prior to the commencement of any work.
  • The seller, property management company, and Surplus Marketplace reserve the right to suspend any removal work in progress if the buyer or buyer's agent is found to be in non-compliance with, or in violation of, applicable Premise Rules and Policies.
  • No refunds will be issued in the event the buyer defaults on the agreed removal schedule.

Full payment by credit card or wire transfer within 72 hours of the close of the auction. Payments are not accepted at the removal location.

State and local sales/use tax to be applied to all purchases unless a properly executed exemption certificate is submitted. 

Property is for sale AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied. Bids are binding. 

Failure to inspect the items does not relieve the bidder of responsibility for payment and removal as stated in these terms.

Item removal MUST occur within 8 weeks of auction closing, Monday-Friday, 9 am and 2 pm. Items remaining beyond this time will be considered abandoned and will revert to seller property. No refunds will be given if the buyer defaults on the removal schedule. If you cannot meet the removal requirements please refrain from bidding.

Items not removed within 5 business days auction auction closing will be considered abandoned and no refunds given. If you are unable to meet the removal requirements, please refrain from bidding. The buyer is responsible for all disassembly, rigging, crating, shipping, packaging, loading, and hauling at their own risk and expense. The Seller nor Surplus Marketplace furnish labor or equipment for removal.
